Saw Chicago twice was fantastic, I still think Catherine Zeta-Jones is better than Renee Z any day of the week.
Someone made me watch Kevin and Perry Go Large last week, a bit silly even for my taste but Kathy Burke makes a great appearance as Perry.
Saw Whalerider really want to see it again, I am not into New Zealand films at all and I live here but this one is a stunner, its easy to see why its won so many awards at the film fest's If you get the chance to see this film it is absolutely astounding and you have to go and see it. ( I forgot to take a packet of tissues with me)
Eris, I loved Lilo and Stitch too, I think it was that whole ugly slobbery loveable dog thing that Stitch had going for him. I don't know why they didn't make big fluffy soft toys of him, I want one. My friend however did buy me a Stitch figurine for Xmas. It rides a trike and makes raygun, screeching tyre , and slobbery noises and came with a Pleekly figure whose eyes pop out, it was my favourite present.

For me, the best part of Lilo and Stitch was the relationship between Nani and Lilo... the scenes where they're fighting, and both end up doing the same thing... the fact that Nani and Lilo understand each other better than anyone could... I'm not usually impressed with "keep the family together" stories, because all they usually do is have a plot of keeping the family together simply for the sake of keeping the family together. In Lilo and Stitch, you understand that both these girls are completely screwed without each other, because nobody in the world "gets" them (except possibly David.)
Oh, and speaking of David, did anyone else think that maybe, just maybe David looked alot like David from SiP? Think maybe that's why he was out of the comic so much... he was busy doing the movie for Disney?

But they DO have large stuffed, plush Stitch dolls! My girlfriend has one...they're pretty damn cool! I loved that movie...Disney so rarely makes me WANT to see one of their movies before it's released, but Lilo & Stitch was one such movie...not since the Lion king have I loved a movie so much!

The first comment I was told was made by friends viewing Lilo& Stitch was, "Oh, I see. Amy's Hawaiian." They now refer to Lilo as "Little Hawaiian Amy", which amuses me. I just wish that meant I got a pet Stitch.
Just saw Amelie. It is as good as everyone says.

ow...
Roger Rabbit's eyes go back to normal after only a minute of doing that...
But back to the subject at hand... I find it ironic that the ad banner is offering a free copy of the Signs DVD... we just saw that as well, and... suckage. Horrible. Too many slow, serious, significant pauses and weird angles. And... a Christian horror movie? Perhaps I wouldn't have had such an issue with it if it had been BILLED as a horror movie (Christian or not), but the fact that it was billed as a SciFi movie just made me frustrated with the whole thing.

You mean there's a woman out there that would date Jax???

Yes, Yes I do have a girlfriend...many months now...why do you think I don't have as much time for movies or anything else...
I can't believe you guys have no faith in me...

You don't bring her to dinner to introduce us, you don't tell us anything about her, you wonder why we worry about you. You're ashamed of us, aren't you?
And just think, bringing her here to meet us wouldn't be nearly as bad as "Meet the Parents," an excellent movie by the way...
